From Manila:

By Bus: Take the Victory Liner Bus from their Pasay and Caloocan City terminals. Air-conditioned and regular bus travel time is approximately 4 hours. Let the Bus driver know that you want to stop at Ambay Botolan Beach Resort formerly known as “ARLE” Beach Resort.

By Private Operated Vehicle: Take the Northern Luzon Expressway. Exit at San Fernando and follow the signs to Olongapo and Zambales. Approximately 1 hour from San Fernando you will see the sign “To S.B.M.A.” At this time, you have the option to turn left and take the “shortcut” (using the S.B.M.A. Toll road) or go straight and take the National Road. I strongly suggest turning left and use the SBMA Toll road which bypasses Olongapo City proper’s traffic congestion. The Toll Fee is normally P24.

Once inside SBMA, turn right at the major T-intersection and follow the signs to Zambales. Make sure to obey all traffic rules because SBMA Police strictly enforces the rules. Go straight; you will pass one of the main gates on the right side. On the second main gate, still on the right side, stop at the 4-way intersection and turn left. Turn right on the second 4-way intersection; this will lead you to the Kalakalan Gate to exit SBMA.

After crossing the bridge, turn left onto the National Road towards Subic, Zambales. You will pass through Subic, Castillejos, and San Marcelino. In San Marcelino, you will see a sign “Shortcut Road” which will bypass San Antonio. Take this Shortcut road. You will pass San Narciso, and at the end of the Shortcut road turn right towards Iba. You will pass through San Felipe, Cabangan, and finally Botolan. Ambay Botolan Beach Resort is located approximately 8 km from Cabangan and 8 km before Botolan town proper.
